About Me

My photo
My husband, Steven Jones, has written a book: An Invitation To The Dance (available on Amazon) - it's about his ET Contact and the Revolution of the Human Consciousness! In 2011 we spent 6 months touring the US attending conferences and talking about his work. I decided to keep a rolling-journal of our escapades and the details of which are all contained within this Blog. The exciting adventure continues, so I will report it as and when it happens..... Tour Diary 7

Tour Diary 7.  Thursday 31.3.11

Well what a lovely day this has been.  We still had to get the tyre sorted out so that was the morning gone, but Candace had told me that the Dolores Cannon level 2 was taking place in a little town called Rogers and we had to pass through it.  I hadn’t looked at it initially as were going to be spending more time in Aztec and those plans changed.

So we turned up at the conference as it finished and I was overwhelmed by all these lovely, lovely ladies coming up to me and giving me huge hugs as they knew who I was but I didn’t know who they were, until they gave me their E mail names.  So all these lovely ladies who I have become such good friends with via the internet now standing in front of me and putting faces to IT labels.

It was so good to see dear Candace’s lovely little face and I think she was as excited as me to finally meet up.  We also got to meet the delightful and charming Tom hubby to Candace.  Steve was really surprised at the response to me, but I suppose he has been pretty much unaware of what strong friendships I have formed through the Forums.

We had a lovely evening and even got a chance to do a little bit of Metaphysical work with Mark and his lovely partner Lana at the end of the evening.

We have stayed on here in Rogers for another day as I don’t want to miss out on the chance for more time with these people, so we are meeting up again tonight and tomorrow we will be on our way to Eureka Springs for Steve to finally get to see Reece.

We have been recommended a really haunted Hotel to stay in which might be beyond our budget but is a chance not to miss, of being able to say hello to some ancient people still hanging out in their old haunts!!  Sorry what a terrible pun that was.

Love

Annie

Tour Diary 6

Tour Diary 6.  Thursday 31st March

With the wonders of technology.. my son Keren in England let me know by e-mail in Aztec New Mexico that my mobile phone was found by a lady in NYC in a taxi.  (Our stuff really makes the rounds!)

I'm not sure why I have a mobile phone as it is never switched on, much to the dismay of all the people trying to contact me, so I actually had no idea I had lost it!!

The kind lady who found the phone had phoned the last number dialed on my phone - got Keren and he then let me know I had lost it.  She is in NYC and so she will mail it to my friend in South Carolina to await my arrival there in June

There is something about inanimate objects, which travel with us, which want to go off on journeys of their own!

Luckily we had bought a phone to use just for here in the US, as yesterday instead of spending a lovely day walking through the ART DECO-ish town of Tulsa we were at a busy junction making lots of phone calls to get assistance for a blown out tyre. Without the phone we would have been in a real pickle.
The tyre eventually got replaced and today we have to spend part of the day getting a proper tyre as this replacement one from the boot is only a doughnut.  I wish they wouldn’t give things names which equate to something you are very familiar with, because although the repairman said it would be fine as long as you don’t go over 50 m.p.h. which means on a motorway with a limit speed of 55 m.p.h we could be pulled over, but I keep getting images of all the jam squishing out and it going flat again!

A lost day again then, once the tyre episode was fixed we had great difficulty locating a hotel, which was acceptable to Steve, the one he had chosen was actually on a motorway I think – under construction.  If it wasn’t actually on the motorway it was as near as I have ever seen a building to a motorway.

By the time we had located one it was 5.30 and we were too tired to go out again exploring.  Steve went off to find food, which is the mans job, and I asked for a tiny salad if he could locate one, with most importantly a bottle of wine so that I could chill.  The wine was fine and went down lovely by the side of the Jacuzzi bath… divine… but the salad… well… it could easily have feed 6 people.  I ate for at least an hour and then Steve said.. ”When are you going to start eating your dinner?”
I gave up and left probably three-quarters of it, which we had to throw away this morning.  I hate waste!.. I gave it some thought and decided that America is actually a land of giants, hence the huge appetites, however the DNA structure of their physical bodies haven’t cottoned on to that fact yet, so the bodies are still normal sizes.  I hope the one catches up with the other soon.

Steve can manage all the stodge as he loves cakes, biscuits, bagels, etc, but I like to eat really lightly so I think I will become a fruitarian…  As I have already put on about a stone in weight in just a week, I cannot afford to carry on at that pace, or we will not get all our roaming suitcases AND me in the car.  As it was, I offered to get out of the car whilst the wheel was being fixed as I was scared the car jack wouldn’t be able to cope with me in there as well!

Today we move on to Eureka Springs to catch up with Reece. Steve has not seen his son for 15 months now.

Hotel prices double at the week-end which is a bit steep and we note on our bill that there is a Occupancy tax.. how weird surely in the business of supplying rooms to clients you would want them to occupy them, why would you be taxed for something that is actually the focal point of the business?
We seem to be hit with taxes no matter which way we turn.
The best snippet yesterday was that Steve was told in the Off License when he tried to buy himself a beer and a wine for me, that the state law forbids selling of cold beer and wine.  They are not allowed to sell it out of a fridge.  Now who could have thought up such a law, was it to make you find your drink so unpleasant that you wouldn’t buy it again?   How do these laws get passed, surely there must have been many thousands more people who like their drink cold than the one or two who are deciding you should not drink?

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy…

The best bit of the day though was when we had stopped at lights and a little old lady with a white bucket was asking each driver to give some money to …God…  She was so polite and continually evoked gods blessings on us all whether we gave money or not.  I wanted to get out and ask how she got the money to God, what means of transfer did she use, but Steve wouldn’t let me out the car.  However, as we passed her and I smiled she blessed our car and THEN I wanted to ask her.. ‘Where was she when the tyre burst!!”  We should have met up with her sooner and maybe the day would have gone differently.  I wonder how much she makes for her maker every day?  What an unusual career choice ..

I think last night I got my first full nights sleep, I must be getting acclimatised to the energies in the room.  Usually my dreams are so jam packed with picking up the energies of everyone who has slept here that I wake exhausted.  It reminded me of a story my brother told me when as a Buddhist they had put up a very sweet old Buddhist Lama in the basement of their complex building.  The basement was reputed to be haunted.  When they asked him if he had slept well, he replied that he had, but he had been very busy, politely greeting each ghost and energy as it passed through his room!  Bless…

On to Eureka Springs, it is so cold and wet here that I have to keep reminding myself that I am in the US, I look out of the window see the grey wet day and say “Hang on, where’s my lovely little garden gone,”  then the ping comes in and says ‘It is the USA and that blank wall you are looking at is the general décor for the outside of all the Great Western hotels…”

Much love to all

Annie

Tour Diary 5

Tour Diary 5.  Tuesday – 29.3.11
From now on I will label the subject headings as Tour Diary and/or personal so that those of you on the Forum or at home who have no wish to read the ramblings of the nutty English woman abroad will be able to avoid opening the e mail.

So, these pictures are from our amazing chauffeur, ET/Experiencer and  guide Randy. Randy turned out to be an intuitive body worker and healer and worked on both Steve and myself, Steve for his legs and me for my back and hip.  He worked in the Aura Field for a little while and I was very impressed with myself, as he kept having to keep walking further away from me to find the outside of mine, in the end I thought he would have to go into the other room... (just kidding)... he was out about 10 foot away from me though ....  although after our day in the airport yesterday you probably would have to have got under my skin to find my aura field then..  talk about the quickest way to diminish a fine energy field!!

The strangest thing for me is that we seem unable to book a flight that goes directly from A to B in a straight line.  As the crow flies Durango  is west to  east to Oklahoma city, but you have to go via Denver which is directly north and then come back down south... on another plane.  Now who can explain the logic of that?
What a waste of fuel, time, and energy.  Anyway, our suitcases were so proud of themselves to have got there first that they were the first ones to appear and I could almost hear them whooping with glee... We are beginning to so regret the weight of them all, that ... (in a whisper here...)  we wouldn't mind if they did take off on a tour on their own.....

The  pictures...
The  one where Randy is giving his horse his daily two-can of beer, Randy was totally unaware of the craft in the background until he looked at the pictures later.

There are some energetic anomalies which have been captured as an overlay of colour,  but the most amazing one is the one of the 'Towers' taken in an area of vortexes.  Randy has gone back many times and taken more pictures but they have never appeared again.  Randy's hyper-sensitive wife Susan, believes it is a portal and it does look strangely like two doors with an energy going between them.

Randy took us back to the airport for our exciting day of musical chairs in different airport lounges. The winner was the one who got to sit the longest in each chair.  I won, as Steve took off for such a long walk that I thought he had been abducted!!  Altogether we played musical chairs for nearly 11 hours ....So we booked an extra day here in Oklahoma or rather here in the Best Western... we have been out for a trek in our fantastic new Chrysler and spent a long time doing a tour of the motorways and trying to get to grips with our new Sat Nav which does actually appear to know what it is doing and I am not aggravated by the calm American male voice which has a bit of a John Wayne twang.  (I forgot to mention when we were talking to our amazing Navajo Indian at the 4 corners he did his party trick which was to do many impressions.. very well, I might add.. of John Wayne.. what a talented man he was)
Anyway this Sat Nav I feel, I can trust, unlike my one at home which was sent to drive me bonkers as she just hasn't a clue as well as having a really twisted sense of humour..  Her favourite trick is to say.. take the next left, and then take the next left, and then take the next left and she thinks I can't work out that she has sent me in a complete circle and put me back where I started from.  But her most favourite trick is to ask me to turn right when I am doing 70 miles a hour on a motorway... I don't take any notice of that instruction you will be pleased to hear...
So we have checked out the car... brilliant and the sat nav.. also brilliant and Steve is back in his element back in the driving seat and on the road and in control.. and so we now feel we have really arrived.  Tomorrow we head towards Reece who is now living in Eureka Springs and shall be able to spend time with him there before the Ozark Conference.

Metaphysically...
I was able to draw a few pictures of the images I picked up when I was sensing into the energies of the 4 corners.  I continually saw a picture of just an eagles head, then a very forbidding looking ET craft which was black with a very sharp pointed nose.  It looked like something that Geiger would have drawn (The "Alien" film’s  artist).. I have never seen a craft like it.  It hovered for  a long while in front of me and then swooped down and flew into the side of the cliff which I was also seeing, along with a man-made structure of a massive circle of water - similar in appearance to the circles of water which formed the constructs of the cities of the Atlanteans. The water was a peculiar shade of lime green, which I suppose would have been in part because of all the turquoise minerals in the soil.  The rest of the surrounding countryside I saw also, as underwater.  Randy told me that the Edifice of Shiprock (Google it and have a look, it is quite spectacular) .. was called Eagles Plateau by the Native Americans for hundreds of years and they maintain its sacredness by not letting the Palefaces near it, you have to get permission. So that was where I was getting the eagles head from.  He also said the land was under water many thousands of years ago and the whole area has more UFO sightings than possibly anywhere else in the world.  The lovely Navajo lady who took Steve out to lunch said that they now take no notice of the lights in the sky as they are such a common occurrence.  However, she said one actually lit up the entire countryside so brightly that everyone came out of their dwellings believing that suddenly it had become daylight again.  That particular one did trigger some response!!

Anyway I have discovered that whilst I was doing my ‘tuning in’ and feeling the Ley-line energies, which were so strong that I had a job to keep standing.. Steve was videoing me and telling his best new buddy, - his camera that he was capturing me doing what I do best.. pretending to do Woo Woo magic whilst actually just practicing my clever skill of taking 40 winks whilst still standing!
The Ley-line energies came in from all directions and did cross at the 4 corners junction of the 4 states so I think that the ancients knew this was a focal point for what we know as a 'Star Burst' Ley-line system and  then Palefaces used that knowledge to claim the energies for themselves by claiming it  as a state line point.  Just like they used to plonk their churches on all our sacred Ley- line energy sites as the preachers thought it was the only way they could ensure people would come through the door.  Sneaky eh!!

I'm never sure of the veracity of what I pick up when I 'Remote View or/psychometrise’ a land so it was good to have Randy confirm all I had picked up, although the black craft remains a mystery ... so far....

We are now going to treat ourselves to a swim and do our laundry, I'm not sure which excites me the most, as I am so OCD about having clean clothes I think it is probably the latter and then tonight we might venture out again.  I am thinking that I would like to go and see the Memorial, which has been constructed for the people killed in the Oklahoma bombings.  It should be viewed at night...We passed the new Federal building today.... My heart-strings were severely tugged for all those little children who were innocently playing in their playschool that dreadful day....

Anyway nuff for today... Loads of love to all...
Annie

This lovely response to us came from a sweet lady called Jen who we met at the conference. Her  dad gave a talk on the ancient "true Space history of our origins".  She is a DC trained therapist like myself and we got on really well......... We must be doing something right as this is just one of many messages we have received so far and we have only done one talk ...

Dear Steve...

I adored meeting You & Annie
You are a gift to the humans down here on Earth! How magical it all was to share in the Aztec UFO conference this weekend with you both!

Adored it all & was grateful to get to sneak away from my Dad's table and hear your life highlights. Looking forward to reading and helping others find and read your story.

Also, having just dated a man with a birthday close to yours, I consider it a part of my mission, to see you become as visible to the seens as to the unseens, on planet Earth!

Enjoy a rich, beautiful journey to through the US and more, & may it be fraught with grand success!

You two are so very dear!

Love and visibility!

Jen,

Tour Diary 4

Tour Diary 4.  Monday 28th March – A day at Durango…. Airport unfortunately.

Having a bummer of a day today, we should now be in Denver but our first plane has broken down, just as we were boarding and we all had to get off.  Our next one is due and we have just been told that it will be another hour late. So now we will not reach Denver until 5 and our next flight will get us into Oklahoma City at 11.p.m.  Steve had booked us into a lovely hotel with a swimming pool and sauna and we were looking forward to using it and having a nice meal.  Our main concern now will be that the car booking service may no longer be open at the airport which means a taxi to hotel and then a taxi back in the morning...
The joys of internal flying apparently.

Well the humour is our suitcases are now there and they will have to wait for us... Neyahhhh!!!

Big hugs to you all I miss you all so much already how am I going to manage for another 16 weeks!!.

Next stop Oklahoma city.....

Tour Diary 3

Tour Diary  - 3.  Conference day. Saturday

The first conference experience went very well.
Friday night it was meet the speaker night and each one got about 10 minutes to give a short summary of who they were and what they would be talking about and then we spent time getting to chat to people who would be coming to the conference the next day.

There were 5 speakers with Steve listed at the end as the Keynote speaker.

This area Aztec is famous for a crash in 1948 so the first speaker Robert Farell made the link that the first ships to start to crash came after the detonation of a Nuclear Bomb called Harry.  He thought that the craft were affected by the electro magnetic disturbance to the atmosphere.
In the US now there are over 500 sightings of ET craft a month.

Lyn Buchanan next, was my favourite.  This very famous Remote Viewer was the person I was most interested in hearing from. But I was not able to sit with Steve as he was at the ‘Brides table’ at the top of the room and was sat next to Lyn.
I was very jealous.  Lyn is the character portrayed by George Clooney in ‘The Men who stare at Goats’.  He wanted everyone to know that he has never killed a goat or anyone else for that matter, not in this manner anyway!  But he said it is extremely easy to do as their  Remote Viewers abilities enabled them to affect electrics so all you have to do is to stop the electrical impulse to the heart, which then effectively stops the heart.
Lyn and a group of his controlled remote viewers, - the best of the bunch, - were asked to remote view the crashed ET vehicle in the Aztec region and this they did obtaining some extraordinary data, the saddest of which was that most of the ET’s actually survived but were then killed by the military during their capture.
He said the Russians worked with remote viewing first and they got the information as part of the sharing of the spoils of war after Hitler was overcome.  Remote viewing was part of Hitler’s research into mental weaponry and was instigated by a project Hitler set up called Doktor Gruenbaum.  This Doctor info was taken by the Russians and expanded on by them. The Russians called it ‘Hypnosis at a distance!’
The American project, which Lyn managed and was the trainer for, was called initially Stargate and they would change the name whenever word of the ultra secret unit got out.
They hated the term Psychic Spies.
They were also asked to RV to see if they could see how the craft worked.  All of them drew and came up with a small ‘Box’ which could be hand held and which had some kind of malleable material inside which they described variously as cookie dough type substance.  Also some metallic salts which then interacted with the dough to form some kind of energy source.  The ET’s would not give up this container.  It reminded me of a incident which Betty taught us about many years ago where two ET’s had been captured and were happy to be poked and prodded and examined but both of them had a box of some sort in front of them which they held onto and would not give up in spite of threats to them.  In the end the soldiers tore the boxes away from them and the ET’s  immediately died.  It somehow was their interface between us and their surviving… removing it killed them.
Lyn made the connection of these boxes and their ability to defy gravity, (as having a push/pull ability and therefore able to move things)... to the work of Ed Leedskalnin an eccentric builder who moved blocks of stone which were over 3 men in height and about 20 men in length.  The weight of one block was the equivalent to 3 fully loaded jumbo jet planes!!  So talking really about some kind of mechanism which could negate gravity and move heavy objects as if they weigh nothing.  Fascinating stuff.  I’ve included an article about him at the end if you are interested.
Lyn had been a ‘poltergiest’ adolescent child but he was a very happy and healthy child, which was unusual, children who usually activate the poltergeist energy are usually upset about something, however he said that if he got into a rage, he could do great damage unintentionally.  When he was in the military in Germany something enraged him and the result was that millions of dollars worth of computer systems got destroyed.  They somehow realised it was Lyn who caused it and his General asked him outright if he had somehow caused the damage.  Lyn thought long and hard about the fact that if he confessed, his debt to the government would be so great that his  grandchildren would be spending their lives too paying back money for the damaged goods and so he  thought he would deny it... However he  found himself saying.. “Yes Sir.”  The General whooped with delight and said ‘Right on’ and promptly sent him back home to start up the Stargate project!!  The military hope was that they would be able to use the powers of the Psychic Spies to turn back enemy missiles and to disrupt their operations.  He said the unit was finally closed which then enabled him to do the work on Civvy street, but I doubt very much that this form of experimentation has stopped at all, just become much more secretive.  If any of you watched the short clip on the Newsreader today who just spoke gobblegook, I think this is maybe the direction this projection of intent and awareness might now be heading…  Mind control etc.  Although Lyn says that a RV cannot be protected against.

Chuck Wade did a talk on the crash site and actually had artifacts taken from the site and crashed ships which we got a chance to look at.  Once piece looked exactly like dried elephant skin and had no weight at all.  Very strange stuff.

Steve’s talk was very well received.  So far each time he has done a presentation the organiser comes up to the podium at the end of the talk and each one has just stood there for a moment and said…..WoW!!.... He sold most of his books and had some really good exchanges with people...

Steve and the other speakers were 'auctioned off'  for a lunch date with a member of the audience.  Steve wanted me to buy $50.00 worth of tickets in the hope that it would be me who ‘won’ him but in the end he got to spend the lunchtime with a lovely Navajo woman who told the organiser afterwards that the lunch hour had changed her view on life forever and that it was the best hour she had ever spent.  Steve gave her a signed book, which bought tears to her eyes and a wonderful time was had by the two of them.

We were all then taken to the home of our lovely driver Randy whose wife cooked a fantastic organic home produced meal for us all.   We got to meet the cows who provided the milk and the chickens and their two lovely adopted children and saved cats, one of whom only adopted them two weeks before and although had been feral was quite content to give me its complete attention.
The little boy – who must have been about 3 years old and was wearing a TuTu over jeans turned out to be a girl who had decided to give herself a hair cut down to her scalp in places which resulted in a hair cut of a military crop style, hence us all presuming that she… was a he….
The other little girl l took to be about 5 or 6 but was in fact aged 10.  She had spent 6 years in a Thai orphanage and was completely thwarted in all normal senses of development for a child.  So for Randy and Susan to take on board this lovely child was a big challenge.  Her smile just lit up the room and she absolutely adores… her mum and dad.  Some of the people we are meeting have hearts so big and so open to helping humankind it really lifts my spirits.

Today we were taken by Janet and Dee who are putting on the Conference Steve will speak at in October in Taos… to the Four Corners area.  A sacred Navajo area.  I got some amazing RV images which I should try to draw….Sensing the energies of an area is a specialty of mine but I was  not sure what time-line I was looking at but I saw some really unusual things.  This is the area of Dulce and Janet says the whole area is a mass of Secret Black Ops Military tunnels connecting up cities and with Denver Airport as apparently the central hub.  Janet shared so much amazing information with us and her symposium is now in its third year and her theme is linking up the spiritual with the paranormal and science.  Dee is a regional director of Mufon here and a great researcher.
If you stand on the central point of the Four corners monument you are actually standing in 4 states at once.  I didn’t know if I was coming or going!!

The treat of the day was that there were booths selling jewellery and the usual Indian gee-gaws  all around the monument so we started to talk with one of the vendors whilst Janet took pictures she was commissioned to do and Steve had a long chat with his video recorder..  The Vendor was a Navajo Native American and at first I felt he could not talk English very well, but he understood us with no problem and in fact just spoke slowly with emphasis.  It turned out the he also spoke German, Japanese and Russian was a fine artist whose work had been displayed in many exhibitions and he had worked as a young man with Frank Lloyd Wright!  He was so amazing to talk to and I thought what a missed opportunity it would have been if Dee hadn’t started asking him questions.  He gave us the whole history of the area and about a secret store of gold which is supposed to be hidden in the nearby hills and which he has been searching for.  I tried to explain to him to get a map and a pendulum but I don't think he really understood me, just took me for a loony English lady...

Nearby was the amazing edifice – Shiprock  - which looks like Mont St Michel but made of rock.  It stands alone and for our entire journey we could see it in different angles.  It is on protected land and so I don’t think you can just go up to view it, but I had watched it for quite a while when we flew over the area and was very intrigued by its strange shape.

Google Shiprock and the four corners area to have a look…

We finished the day in the Red Lobster for my first seafood treat of the holiday… may there be many more….
Back to packing and two flights tomorrow to take us to Oklahoma City and a car of our own… Yeahhh  That will be bliss….

Tour Diary 2

Tour Diary 2.   24.3.11

Well we finally arrived in Aztec New Mexico, but unfortunately our luggage is still in Phoenix!!

We left NYC at 5.30 this morning in the snow and had a 5-hour flight to get to Phoenix – that flight was delayed and so when we got to Phoenix we had a very short time to get to the connecting flight to Durango.
We were taken in hand by a complete angel of a security guard who started to try to give us directions to our next flight, but when she saw how little time we had she left her desk and escorted us all the way to departure… on a shuttle bus and then past all the security queues through the first class lines and straight to the boarding desk.  She was so lovely and without her we would never have found the way it was so complicated.  She gave us a mini teaching on the way from her old dad who told her ‘Honey if you do a good deed it will always be well received, but if you do something bad… it will come back and bite you in the bum’
Clearest lesson on Karma I’ve every heard.   It was triggered off by the fact that just as we got to the shuttle bus which must have seen her in her uniform and us hurrying to catch the bus, he drove off!!
Nice to see that the American bus drivers and the English have the same warped sense of humour!!

However, our luggage was not ushered through in the same swift way and when we got here, ….luggage remained there!…
Hopefully it will be sent to us tomorrow. We are an hour’s drive away from the airport and this apparently happens a lot, luggage not making it.  As it is, we only have the clothes we stand in.

The Durango flight was in a little plane with propellers, which sounded brilliant when it took off like something out of world war two. I bagged the window seat, which was a smart call, as we flew over the Grand Canyon and the meteorite crater out of Starman.  I half expected to see the UFO over the huge crater, coming to take Jeff Bridges back home…

The driver who met us, was a lovely old cowboy who is an ET Experiencer whose story could have been Steve’s, the similarities were quite extraordinary.  But when he was 30 he told them to leave him alone as his life was full of ‘too much high strangeness’ and they have done so.
He and his wife are Naturopaths and run classes in Metaphysics and he is also a ‘Minister,’ which is quite a normal thing here, teaching about spirituality and ‘oneness’. (Not quite sure what that means)..They grow and eat all their own organic food and have their own small stock of livestock to supply all they need.   He was lovely and on Saturday we all go to dinner at their house for a sumptuous feast cooked with their produce, apparently the wife is a renowned cook.

Kate who is organizing the conference – (whose proceeds go to promoting the Aztec library each year),  - came to say hello and gave us a lovely parcel of wine, chocolates and an amazing T shirt for the conference which has the speakers names printed on the back so Steve was over the moon to have his name on a T Shirt.  She promised to bring one for me tomorrow, if my clothes don’t turn up!!

Apparently she has a raffle running and the prize is “Lunch with Steve”.  As you can imagine he wants me to buy up all the tickets!!  I’ve refused so he has to socialise!!

The little hotel we are in is an absolute delight  - called ‘The Step Back Inn’ with black and white pictures all around the walls of people who look like Jessie James and his gang and old children’s clothing in glass cases, it also has carousel horses lining our hallway!!  So cute and quaint.
Each room has a different name and ours is called Bowra after a family who came and lived here, from England.  One of the rooms is called The Cole Spencer room and Elizabeth Cole applied to Harvard Medical but was turned down because they did not accept women!.  She then became principal of the Aztec schools.  So much history to explore.  The Native Americans in the area are the UTES and as is often the case they now own the Casinos and are very wealthy.  So Randy, our driver, said they are still scalping the whites, (which I feel is as it should be after all that was done to them!)
I saw Randy come into the airport and he came up next to us at the desk, but as I was so reluctant to say, “Are you Randy” I kept quiet which meant it took another 15 minutes for him to come back and ask if we were the English couple he was to meet…  I think it is an unfortunate name!

On Sunday we will be taken to the 4 Corners area of New Mexico, which has a Vortex to experience.  It is the junction of 4 different states, so apparently you can actually put your hands on the floor and so have both your feet and your hands in four different states at once!

It’s meet the speakers evening tomorrow night with a meal and a get together and then Saturday is the conference with Steve as the ‘Star speaker’ closing the conference with the largest allocated time slot.

Lots of love to all..

Tour Diary 1

TOUR DIARY 1.  23.3.11

Day one

Arrived safely in NYC.  Some hassles.. Steve did not read the luggage allowance correctly and we are having to pay lots on excess even though we both only have one suitcase each and only carrying clothes in it.  They say they will change it again soon and let you have two bags but for now we were charged an extra £40.00.

On the American Airlines internal apparently we have to pay for every bag we put on and an enormous fine if they are over.

Hopefully if the weather changes for the better we can ship some clothes back.  Otherwise everything we have we need.

Oh well.

The plane did some amazing skids on landing which caused the passengers to clap and cheer when he finally straightened up and our taxi driver from the airport got totally lost and kept ringing our hotel to find his way and we could hear her very carefully explaining the route but as he didn't speak English it didn't help him at all.  Luckily I spotted it on the left as we drove past on the motorway and it only took him another 20 minutes to get back onto the right road to drive in. He was not impressed with Steve who did still actually tip him, but obviously not as much as he wanted and he swore quite colourfully for a few minutes.

It's cold here with snow on the ground as we landed, but hopefully once we get to Aztec it is supposed to be mild spring days.

Just chilling now, Steve still trying to cook the books to make the suitcases weigh the right amount, but at the end of the day, they weigh what they weigh.

Two flights to do tomorrow to get to our final destination and we have to get up at 5 am to catch the first.  Thank goodness that will be a normal time for us with the 5 hours time difference.

Watched 127 hours ... boring, True Grit... good  and a Sean Penn film based on a true story about the whistleblower who called the American government liars about the WMD.  To punish him they outed his wife who was a secret CIA agent and because she was exposed all the people she was trying to help abroad to get to safety were killed.
The guy who caused it all to happen eventually got prosecuted and sent to prison for two years and fined $250,000 and the George Bush evoked his ability to use his executive order and got him freed.  I would like to read the stories both the man and his wife has written.  Fascinating stuff.
I also watched Monsters which was sooooooooooooooooooooo  boring.... So before I knew it we had landed.  Films make travelling so much easier.

Loads of love to everyone... Will catch you all up again when we finally arrive at Aztec.  The conference is on Friday and Steve is the Key Note speaker which although good because it means he is the last speaker and it's the top position, but it means that people might not hang around to buy books.
To think we were thinking we could carry a case of books around as well!!!

A young man chatted to us in the queue to get out of the airport.  I liked him because he was just like Jon and even sounded like him.  He asked what we were doing and Steve said a book tour and after lots of questioning on the boys part I finally said what it was about and he was soooooo enthusiastic and immediately wanted to know how he could get a copy, what it was called and said what a brilliant title.  I think he was really reluctant to say goodbye.  His brother lives here and is a Yuppie big cheese in Wall Street and so he is on a visit for 5 days.  I think in the end he would have rather have been on tour with us.  I expect to hear from him soon once he has read the book.  The interest in the subject is so big now and Steve daily is getting so many wonderful messages from people all over the world who have read the book and say that it has totally changed their lives...  So reassuring that we are doing the right thing....
